With the path breaking policies and reforms of the University Grants Commission and the introduction of UGC recommended scales of pay for University and College teachers in all states across the country, a lectureship has become a prestigious position to aspire for, and an attractive profession to be happy with. The CSIR/ UGC JRF-NET exam is conducted for the students of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Science background. We are happy to hold hands with students of the Arts (English) stream and help them successfully cross this crucial threshold, opening out to a bright future in research and/ or teaching. The educational reforms and progressive initiatives by Government of India, massive investment in education by government and private agencies, a large number of vacancies in the coming years, make it imperative that a student be guided properly and effectively to compete successfully in these examinations.

English seems to be the only subject that occupies the highest position for the number of vacancies that exist/ arise in Schools and Colleges at all times in all the states across India. In view of this, we have garnered the resources of a team of excellent faculty at ASTRA, a unique combination of well- experienced professors, PhDs and NET qualified young teachers who steer you spontaneously through the course modules to help you come out successfully in the test.

At Astra we have designed a dynamic system that integrates classrooms learning with facilities for library and online referencing plus effective workshops dedicated to practically answering previous question papers, getting them valued day after day till the ability to tackle any question would be an easy task.
